Interior Designing Naturally Happened To Me, Says Shamita Shetty

IANS, 13 Mar, 2017 01:08 PM
Actress Shamita Shetty, who has also tried her hands at interior designing, says it happened to her naturally.

"Interior designing is something that naturally happened to me... I just happened to do interiors of a night club and I did it with no technical knowledge... That's when I decided when I am doing something... I would want to be technically sound with what I do," Shamita told IANS.

The 38-year-old actress, who has worked in films like "Mohabbatein", "Zeher" and "Cash", went abroad to study the subject, came back and then worked with an architect for a year.

"Then I started my own business. But that did keep me really busy. Interiors is something that takes a 100 per cent of your time," she added.

Shamita says once she got into the celebrity dance-based reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa", interior designing took a back seat.

"When I got back with 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', after that it just left me with no time because I got back into entertainment. So for now till something doesn't come my way with interiors... I am not really interested in doing it," she added.

Currently, Shamita has no film in her kitty.
