Imtiaz Ali, Farah Khan Can't Make Hit Films In Dream Also: KRK

  • Imtiaz Ali, Farah Khan Can't Make Hit Films In Dream Also: KRK
Actor Kamaal R. Khan has criticised filmmakers Imtiaz Ali and Farah Khan, saying that the two can't even make a hit film in their dreams.

Kamaal, who has starred in films like "Deshdrohi" and "Ek Villain", on Sunday took to Twitter to criticise the filmmakers as well as superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who will be starring in Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film.

"SRK became superstar with new director's films like 'Baazigar', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'...but now he believes in established flop directors like Imtiaz Ali," Kamaal tweeted.

"If you work with Imtiaz after 'Tamasha' also then 100 per cent something is wrong with your confidence. Imtiaz and Farah Khan can't make hit film in dream also," he added.

Kamaal shared that he suggested Shah Rukh "to do director Mohit Suri's film instead of Imtiaz Ali's but he preferred Imtiaz over Mohit so let's wait for this great director film".

Labelling Farah Khan's 2014 film "Happy New Year" as bad, Kamaal stated that all the stars, who featured in the film are "sitting at home".

The film featured Shah Rukh, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff.

"Two years ago a 'wahiyat' film 'Happy New Year' released and all the actors of that film thought, they have become stars, so now all are sitting at home," he wrote.

Sonu, who is currently shooting for the upcoming Indo-Chinese film "Kung Fu Yoga" starring superstar Jackie Chan, replied to Kamaal, who is often engaged in controversies, that he should keep his wishes intact.

"Don't worry mere (my) Bhai (brother). With your wishes sitting in Shanghai and doing what people can only dream. Keep wishes intact Bhai," Sonu replied on Sunday.
