I Want A Career Like Zohra Sehgal: Kareena Kapoor Khan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Mar, 2016 11:54 AM
  • I Want A Career Like Zohra Sehgal: Kareena Kapoor Khan
Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who gives all credit to her husband Saif Ali Khan for giving her the freedom to choose her career path, says she would love to be in front of the camera even when she is 80 -- just like late actress Zohra Sehgal.

"I want a career like late Zohra Sehgal. At the age of 80, I want to be in front of camera," Kareena, who had worked with the veteran in "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...", said here.

Zohra Sehgal, who played character roles with aplomb in a career spanning both theatre and cinema, worked in a variety of films. She died in 2014 at the age of 102.

Talking of herself, Kareena said that "despite being married for quite a long time, still I am working in films".

"Even I have no qualms of doing item songs. For this, I would like to give all credit to my husband Saif Ali Khan. If Saif wouldn't have given the permission, then it wasn't possible for me to do anything," said the "Jab We Met" actress.

On the work front, she will next be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor in R. Balki's "Ki & Ka", releasing on April 1.
