I love performing live: Amit Trivedi

Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 Aug, 2015 01:23 PM
National Award winning musician Amit Trivedi, who has composed for films like "Dev D", "Wake Up Sid", "Udaan" and "Queen", says that he loves performing live as it gives him a chance to connect with audience.

Trivedi performed during a musical concert that was a part of Close Up First Move Party on Wednesday. The event witnessed college goers from across the city coming together for the "coolest party" of the year at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

"I had an amazing time performing in Delhi. I love performing live as it gives you a chance to connect with the audience. Particularly today, the energy was electrifying. I went to some experience zones at the Closeup First Move Party and had a blast. Closeup really does give you the confidence to get closer. I'm glad that through my performance and choice of songs, many people made their first move," Trivedi said in a statement.

He played some of his best tracks and made the audience swoon as VJ Yudi (Yuuthistar) and VJ Bani played witty hosts for the evening and encouraged everyone at the party to make their first move.

The Closeup First Move Party also had a set of experience zones to help college goers make their best first move. At "Brush Up Your First Move Skills", students had to perform the task of brushing with Closeup, with a twist. Some students used the art of head-banging while brushing and others struck a pose with their partner and a toothbrush, replicating popular movie posters.
