I Don't Watch Television: Vidya Balan

IANS, 02 Aug, 2016 01:45 PM
  • I Don't Watch Television: Vidya Balan
She started her career in showbiz from the small screen, where she portrayed a shy bespectacled Radhika of the TV sitcom "Hum Paanch". But actress Vidya Balan says now she doesn't get the time to watch television.

Asked if she finds changes in the TV industry, Vidya told IANS over phone from Mumbai: "I don't watch television (that much) invariably because I don't get the time to follow shows... I know there is Hotstar (live streaming app) and all that, but I just don't watch television."

The 38-year-old, however, watched shows on Zindagi channel in between the shoot of "Kahaani 2".

"I don't watch television otherwise," Vidya added.

The actress has finished shooting for the sequel of the 2012 suspense thriller "Kahaani", which was shot in Kalimpong, West Bengal and will also be seen in Srijit Mukherji's directorial "Begum Jaan".
