I am single: Aditya Roy Kapur

Darpan News Desk IANS, 19 Dec, 2015 02:42 PM
  • I am single: Aditya Roy Kapur
Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who is often linked with Shraddha Kapoor, says he is not dating anyone. He doesn't even mind it because he feels “being single isn't that bad”.

The actor, whose love life has attracted gossip since the past two years, added that he will get into a relationship only when he is ready for it. Till then, he is committed to his professional life.

“I am single, there is no change in my relationship status and no complaints either. Being single isn't all that bad as you can be selfish and focus on yourself and your career. When in a relationship you are responsible for another person too. I don't want to commit unless I am absolutely ready,” Aditya said in a statement.

There were also reports that he bought a diamond ring for Shraddha, but the actor is amused by the news.

“I am not in the habit of putting a ring on my own finger. People seem to know more about me than I do,” he said.

On the professional front, Aditya will be seen in "Fitoor". Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, "Fitoor" brings Aditya and Katrina Kaif together for the first time on the silver screen.

The film is said to be an adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel "Great Expectations". It hit a roadblock due to budget issues, but is now back on track. It is slated to release early next year.
