Union minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rajyavardhan Rathore started a fitness challenge on Twitter asking everyone to share pictures and videos of how they keep themselves fit.
Late Wednesday, Rathore nominated Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, Saina Nehwal and cricketer Virat Kohli for the challenge, who then posted their workout videos.
“#HumFitTohIndiaFit Post pictures and videos of how you keep yourself fit and send a #FitnessChallenge to your friends on social media. Here’s my video and I challenge @iHrithik, @imVkohli & @NSaina to join in,” Rathore tweeted.

Responding to the challenge, Hrithik revealed that he cycles on his way to office everyday. “This initiative makes me so proud ! Bravo @Ra_THORe #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge this is how I commute to my office everyday. sitting static in a car is such a waste. Walk, cycle, jog, feel the earth, feel India get FIT!” He also challenged his parents Rakesh and Pinki Roshan, along with Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff and Kunal Kapoor.

However, Twitter soon pointed out traffic violations and even tweeted to Mumbai Police. People on Twitter said that Hrithik was making a video while cycling and wasn’t wearing a helmet. A Twitter user @DuttRisky tweeted, “This is called violation of traffic rules. @MumbaiPolice what you are going to do now? @iHrithik you should have done it in open ground rather than on busy road.”
Mumbai Police tweeted to the user, saying, “Please share the location details for us to inform the concerned traffic division.”

Appreciate your intent. But riding a cycle without a Helmet, shooting a video through mobile is way too callous & a risk uncalled for...
