Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan on Friday donated Rs.25 lakh to the Ramanaidu Charitable Trust for Chennai flood relief.
 
The actor sent a cheque of Rs.23 lakh and medicines worth Rs.2 lakh as his contribution for #ManaMadrasKosam initiative.
 
"Hrithik Roshan demonstrated his commitment and his compassion to Chennai relief efforts initiated by Ramanaidu Charitable Trust by this humble donation. We are grateful to Hrithik's support," said actor Rana Daggubati who is spearheading the initiative.
 
"It is inspiring and happy to see support coming from all quarters. It is an arduous task for all of us and to step up and help with the recovery by contributing in multitude of ways each of us can," he added.
 
Ramanaidu Charitable Trust has been actively engaged in Chennai flood relief operations, providing relief and helping many people access to food, water, medicines and clothing for over a week now.
