In the latest twist it has come to the light that on the fateful night when Salman's SUV mowed down a few pavement dwellers sleeping on the footpath in the Bandra suburb of Mumbai the actor was drunk much beyond the permissible limits.

The latest disclosures made to the Mumbai Sessions Court by one of the chemical analysis experts has testified that alcohol content found in Salman's blood was much higher than the permissible limits. In his statement to the court said analyst stated that the reports of the Salman's blood test which was conducted post the occurrence of mishap revealed that that 62 ml alcohol was present in his body which is even more than the double the permissible limits i.e. of 30 ml.

In his statement the said official also informed that he also conducted the the Morpholin test on Salman's blood samples which further confirmed the findings.

In the previous hearing, another witness (a JW Marriott's parking assistant) also confirmed Salman's being on the driving seat, and also informed that the actor who was accompanied by his three other friends tipped him with 500 bucks while leaving the hotel premises.

The hit and run case, in which Salman is under trial for charges like culpable homicide not amounting to murder, dates back to 2002 in one person lost his life whereas 4 others got injured.
