Hilfiger fond of Bollywood films, incredible Sonam Kapoor

Darpan News Desk IANS, 29 Sep, 2014 11:31 AM
  • Hilfiger fond of Bollywood films, incredible Sonam Kapoor
American designer Tommy Hilfiger loves to watch Bollywood movies and appreciates the growing fashion quotient in Hindi movies. His favourite among the stars is stylish Sonam Kapoor.

"I have followed Bollywood films and enjoyed the complete aura of fashionably dressed actors dancing around the trees," the designer, who was here to celebrate 10 years of his brand in the country, told IANS in an interview.

When asked if he follows any particular actor or actress in the tinsel town, he was quick to name Sonam.

"Sonam Kapoor is amazing. She is beautiful, smart and incredible," said the man, who has spent 30 years in the fashion industry creating new trends.

Hilfiger, who has made a niche clientele with his cool, casual, relaxed and youthful designs, had invited the "Khoobsurat" actress to be part of his brand's celebration in the capital.

On the occasion, the designer launched two limited-edition pieces - a shawl for women and traditional bandi for men.

The iconic Indian garments were reinterpreted with Hilfiger’s signature preppy spirit.
