Heroes Forever: Bollywood Stars On Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev

Hindi film celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Lata Mangeshkar and Riteish Deshmukh on Monday paid tributes to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary.
 
The stars also thanked the revolutionaries for sacrificing their lives for the nation, calling them “true heroes then and forever”. 
 
Born in September 1907, Bhagat Singh, one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement, was hanged on March 23, 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukhdev in Lahore.

Aaj hum jo Aazad Bharat mein jee rahe hai iski neev in jaise kai angeenat veero'n ki qurbaani hai. In Veeron ko main Shraddhanjali arpan karti hun, koti koti pranam karti hun. (India's brave sons Bhagat Singh ji, Rajguru ji and Sukhdev ji were hanged today. We are living in an independent India due to sacrifices by brave souls like them. I pay tribute to such legends.)
