Here's How Much Karan Johar Earned From Baahubali 2!

IANS, 30 May, 2017 12:23 PM
  • Here's How Much Karan Johar Earned From Baahubali 2!
We all know that Baahubali 2 has rewritten history worldwide. The film that has turned out to be the biggest Indian film till date has raked in over Rs 1600 crore worldwide, including all its versions.

The Hindi version alone stands at somewhere around Rs 505 crore mark which is humongous. Karan Johar who's a presenter of the Hindi version of the film has benefited hugely from the performance of the Hindi version in India.

Baahubali's Hindi version had collected in the range of Rs 130-140 crore. Baahubali 2 has raked in over Rs 500 crore already and is still running in theatres. So, the producer share from that 500 crore happens to be somewhere around Rs 250 crore.

Karan's contract says that he earns 10% of the total producers' profit from the Hindi version alone. So while Baahubali didn't get him too much of a profit, KJo's Dharma Productions has now earned somewhere around Rs 24-25 crore alone from Baahubali 2. Amazing!
