Hera Pheri 3 Confirmed, To Reunite Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty And Paresh Rawal

  • Hera Pheri 3 Confirmed, To Reunite Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty And Paresh Rawal

Hera Pheri is one of the most cherished comedy movies in Bollywood. While the original is still remembered for its comedy of errors, the makers have decided to come up with the third instalment of the film. And guess what? The trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunile Shetty and Paresh Rawal will all return.

Mumbai Mirror has quoted a source close to the film’s production saying, “The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year.”

As per the report, Indra Kumar (Masti, Dhamaal) is going to be the director of the new film. He even tweeted the news clip on Wednesday.

The first film in the Hera Pheri franchise released in 2000. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film met with success at the box office. Interestingly, it didn’t pick up initially, but a tremendous word of mouth worked in its favour and it ended up as a commercially successful film.

Phir Hera Pheri, under a new director Neeraj Vora, released in 2006, but couldn’t repeat the charisma of the original film.
