After trying her hand at acting, direction, production and politics, Bollywood's 'Dreamgirl' Hema Malini will soon come up with her debut album of bhajans.
 
The 67-year-old, best known for her roles in films like “Seeta Aur Geeta”, “Sholay”, “Johny Mera Naam”, “Baghban” and “Veer-Zaara”, took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce that she is venturing into singing.
 
“Yesterday (Tuesday) I recorded a lovely bhajan at Lata Mangeshkar studio. Composed by Pandit Jasraj ji. Was assisted by his disciple Tripti ji,” Hema tweeted.
 
“I am discovering a new me who I didn't know even existed. Singing is such an enthralling experience and I'm enjoying my new avatar totally,” she added.
 
Hema further shared that the lyrics of the bhajans have been written by Narayan Agarwal.
 
“Lyrics-Narayan Agarwalji. Music coordination - Vivek Prakash. I'm coming out with an album of bhajans very soon and will need your encouragement and support,” she shared.
