Have High Regard For Amrinder Gill: 'Sarvann' Director

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jan, 2017 11:35 AM
Karaan Guliani, who is making his directorial debut with Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopras forthcoming production venture "Sarvann", says he had fun shooting with actor Amrinder Gill and holds him in "very high regard".

"When I started shooting ‘Sarvann', I was surrounded by big names like Priyanka Chopra, Vashu Bhagnani and Amrinder Gill. I used to wonder how I will be able to handle all the big names. But I think they all are very big because they are the simplest people on earth," Guliani said in a statement.

"Within a few days of starting the film, the entire unit became a family who supported each other. We had so much fun that we didn't even realise how the shoot got over. In this, my biggest support was Amrinder. I have very high regard for him," he added.

While sharing a funny incident from the shooting, Guliani said: "When we were shooting in a village, that time all villagers had come to click a ‘selfie' with Amrinder Gill. Being a nice person, he clicked photographs with everyone. I felt good that people are loving my actor," Guliani said.

With "Sarvann", Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra has also stepped into film production with their home banner Purple Pebble Pictures.

The Punjabi film, which also features Simi Chahal, Ranjit Bawa, Sardar Sohi and Binnu Dhillon, is slated to release on Friday.
