Haseena Parkar Trailer: Shraddha Kapoor Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine

  • Haseena Parkar Trailer: Shraddha Kapoor Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine
The makers of Shraddha Kapoor starrer Haseena Parkar have released the trailer of the film and going by the looks of it, the movie promises to be quite riveting. The movie also marks the debut of Shraddha's real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor as her reel life brother Dawood Ibrahim.

The trailer begins with a telephone ringing, which is followed by Haseena Parkar's (Shraddha) voice. The following visuals take us to a Mumbai court and we are informed that Haseena has been running her Karachi-based brother Dawood Ibrahim's (Siddhanth) underworld business for about a decade and finally a case has been filed against her.

As the trailer progresses, we get to know that Haseena has been involved in a number of extortion cases by running her brother's business in Mumbai. She knows her brother inside out, evident as she tells the court, "Aapne mere bhai ke baare main padha hai, maine mere bhai ko padha hai."

The rest of the trailer gives us glimpses of Haseena right from the time she was a teenager till she emerged as the most revered female don of the city. We also get sneak peeks into her family life and how she's pulled up for a crime committed by her brother, i.e., the 1993 Mumbai blasts. She's repeatedly told that her only mistake is that she's the dreaded don's sister. Or was it?

The trailer manages to impress us owing to its thrilling narrative and from the bits that it offers us we can say that Shraddha has managed to put up a great performance in the first grey shade character of her career. Though, we don't get to see as much of Siddhanth in the trailer as Shraddha, but from the scattered glimpses of him, it's clear that he definitely looks his part and one can look forward to a promising debut from him.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who has previously given us another hit gangster drama Shootout at Lokhandwala, Haseena Parkar delves into the lives of the dreaded brother-sister duo and traces Haseena's journey as she becomes the revered 'Aapa'.
