Happy That I Could Rise To Pooja's Expectations: Richa Chadha

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 Oct, 2015 12:20 PM
  • Happy That I Could Rise To Pooja's Expectations: Richa Chadha
It seems Richa Chadha is a director's actor. The actress is happy to receive compliments on the look of her character in her upcoming film “Cabaret”, specially when it is coming direct from the film's producer -- Pooja Bhatt.

Richa says the appreciation from Pooja is special as she has been on the other side of the camera as well, and it gives her a boost to get better in her craft.

“I am humbled and happy that I could rise to Pooja's expectations. She's the one who picked me for the part and its a challenging role. Coming from a producer who's also been an actor, it's a big deal. Appreciation only wants to make me work harder,” Richa said in a statement.

This comes after Pooja took to Twitter to praise Richa's voluptuous look in the film, where she is playing the character of a dancer.

“What makes @RichaChadha_ special and a perfect fit for @CabaretTheFilm is that she is voluptuous in mind, body and spirit! Move over size zero,” Pooja had tweeted earlier this month.

"Cabaret", as the name suggests, is based on a dance form, which Richa has been extensively learning and practicing for a long time. Richa's character is a dancer from a small town who has a dream to go big.

Richa has finished shooting for her first song of “Cabaret”. The first look of the film has created a lot of buzz as the actress is seen flaunting her toned body in a figure revealing outfit.
