Mira is in her early 20s, while Shahid is 34 years old. They met because of their families' belief in the Radha Soami sect, a philosophical organisation based on the spiritual teachings of all religions.

The duo got married exactly two months ago on July 7. They have since been spotted while heading to the gym together and just last month, they made a public appearance hand-in-hand at the Lakme Fashion Week winter-festive 2015.
