Bollywood actress Dia Mirza was all praise for “Happy Bhaag Jayegi” after the screening of the film here.

"It's a happy and absolutely adorable film. I loved it so much and I am sure the audience is going to love it too. Diana (Penty), Abhay (Deol), Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal and the entire cast has been wonderful,” said Dia on the sidelines of screening.

A special screening of “Haapy Bhaag Jayegi” was held in Mumbai on Thursday and Bollywood celebrities like Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, Chunky Pandey, Kartik Aaryan and Zarine Khan along with producers Krishika Lulla and Anand L Rai attended the event.

Lulla, who in collaboration with Anand L Rai has earlier produced films like “Raanjhanaa” and “Tanu Weds Manu: Returns”, said: "I am more nervous than excited as people's expectations have gone high. I hope we can keep up to their expectations. It is a simple sweet story. You can enjoy it with your family.”

The film revolves around a runaway bride Diana aka Happy, who flees from her marriage and accidentally reaches Lahore, Pakistan, where she meets Abhay's (Deol) character.

The romcom is directed by Mudassar Aziz.
