Got My Stamp Of Approval From Box Office, Says Swara

  • Got My Stamp Of Approval From Box Office, Says Swara
Actress Swara Bhaskar, who was last seen on the big screen in "Nil Battey Sannata", feels that she got the stamp of approval from the box office after the movie became successful.

How does she feel on the success of her first solo film?

Swara told IANS: "Of course, the fact that it's my first solo hit feels amazing. You know how actors are not considered 'legit' till the box office has not certified them. So, it feels like I've got my stamp of approval from the box office."

The "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actress says she believed in the film, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

"I always knew and believed that 'Nil Battey Sannata' would be well received but I had no idea that the reviews would be so good and the audience response would be so effusive and affectionate," she added.

The actress shared that she feels great that the film has been declared a commercial hit.

"It's very important for films like this -- small on budget, high on content, meaningful yet entertaining, thought provoking -- to make money for their producers. When the producer makes money, it ensures that he or she will be able to make such movies again," Swara added.
