‘Good News’: With Two Cakes, Kareena Kapoor Khan Celebrates Shoot Wrap-Up Of Song

    B-town diva Kareena Kapoor Khan has been shooting opposite ‘Kesari’ actor Akshay Kumar for her upcoming romantic comedy ‘Good News’.


    Directed by first-timer Raj Mehta, the film also stars Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles.


    A picture went viral on social media, where Bebo can be seen with her cast and crew celebrating the shoot wrap-up of her song.

     


    The picture was shared by Kareena's hair-stylist Yianni Tsapori on her Instagram account. In the picture, we can see Bebo surrounded by celebrity make-up artist Mickey Contractor, manager Poonam Damania, costume designer Natasha Vohra and stylist Naina Sawhney.


    Sources said: “It is a recreation of the 1999 hit song 'Sauda khara khara' which was sung by Sukhbir and the video featured Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. While the original was set around a wedding, the new one unfolds in a Delhi club”.


    The remake is composed by DJ Chetas. He promised it would be one of the biggest hits of the year.


    In ‘Good News’ Akshay and Kareena are playing a married couple, who resort to have a baby by IVF after seven years of marriage, whereas Kiara and Diljit are the Punjabi couple who help the duo conceive.


    It is co-produced by Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.The movie is scheduled to release on September 6.


    Besides doing films, Kareena also hosts a radio show of her own that themed around ‘What Women Want’.
