Gippy Grewal Performs For A Cause In Delhi

    Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal and celebrities like Kainaat Arora, Ashok Masti and Deep Money performed here to create awareness about cervical cancer, saving the girl child and educating girls.
     
    The event, which was organised by non-profit organization AAS, was held on Wednesday and attended by over 3,000 spectators.
     
    “This is a very important issue for me on a personal level. I would request all my fans that they should give priority to the health and safety of women in India. I am thankful to AAS that they have given me this platform to express my concerns on this matter," Gippy said in a statement.
     
    Varsha Goel, president, AAS shared that issues related to girl child are numerous and covers many aspects of her well-being and "being a girl she is the one who educates the next generation of the society at various levels. Hence, her education and safety are our priority".
