Getting typecast means you're accepted: Tusshar Kapoor

Darpan News Desk IANS, 19 Jan, 2016 01:10 PM
Tusshar Kapoor doesn't mind being tagged as an actor who mostly dabbles in adult comedies. He says when a person is typecast, it means there's acceptance for his talent.

Asked if it bothers him when people tag him as an actor of adult comedies, Tusshar said: "I am happy... at the end of the day, people should like you. If you get typecast, then I think it's a branding... it means you have got acceptance in one kind of a role.

"That is the main reward that an actor can get... that the audience will buy tickets to see your film. So, I am okay with it."

Tusshar has been part of adult comedies including "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum" and "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum".

However, one film that he's truly proud of is the comedy film "Golmaal".

"I am most proud of my film 'Golmaal'. I was wondering whether in four heroes, will my character stand out? But that role changed my career. So, I am very grateful to that film," he said.

The actor will now be seen in two back-to-back adult comedy films, including "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" and "Mastizaade". He said the audience will be able to distinguish between both the films.

"Both the films are very different from each other," he said.
