Veteran actor Anupam Kher is the only member of the original cast of "Judwaa" to have made it to the cast of the upcoming David Dhawan directorial "Judwaa 2", says its lead actor Varun Dhawan. He also described Anupam as "a lot fitter and better looking now".
Anupam played the role of Inspector Havaldar Vidyarthi in the 1997 movie, which also starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
Without disclosing much about his new character, Anupam tweeted on Monday: "Twenty years back I was part of 'Judwaa'. Now 'Judwaa 2'. If Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan are kind, I will also be there for 'Judwaa 3."
He also posted a video with the director.
"I'm shooting in London with one of my favourite directors - David Dhawan...I'm with my friend David. It's wonderful to work with you. This is our...sixth or seventh film together," said the actor.
David also praised Anupam, whom he considers to be "a friend, a good actor and good human being".
The two wrapped up the video by giving each other a tight hug.
Varun, who is playing a double role in the film, welcomed Anupam to its cast, which also includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
Sharing a photo of Varun and Anupam standing shoulder-to-shoulder, the young actor tweeted: "Anupam Kher is the only member of the original cast of 'Judwaa' to be part of 'Judwaa 2'. He's a lot fitter and better looking now."
