  • Fit Body Gives Joy To Jacqueline Fernandes
Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandes says fitness is something she's very conscious about as she feels it can make a person happy.

"Fitness is something I have grown up with. I have always been very athletic and was very sporty in school. I have realised the benefits of staying fit and healthy...it is just for your own stability and personal happiness. It plays a huge role in everyday life and one's mental state," Jacqueline said here.

Seen in films like "Aladin", "Murder 2" and "Roy", Jacqueline inaugurated an open-air gym - said to be a joint venture of Dino Morea and Aditya Thackeray - at Marine Drive here earlier this week.

"Fitness is a very important aspect, and creating awareness and providing the facilities to do so is an important service," the actress said.

Model-turned-actor Dino Morea, owner of DM Fitness Pvt Ltd., has built specially designed open-air, open-to-all gymnasiums, which are an ensemble of multiple fitness equipment. Such fitness stations have already been started at Bandra Bandstand, Five Gardens, Dadar Shivaji Park and Worli Seaface here.
