  • Fawad Khan 'Thrilled' To Work With Rishi Kapoor
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film “Khoobsurat”, says he is “more than thrilled” to work with actor Rishi Kapoor in upcoming romantic drama film “Kapoor and Sons”.

While appearing on the TV show “Look Who’s Talking with Niranjan - Season 2”, Fawad said he was not a popular student in school or college, instead he was bullied as a child. Hence this sudden attention from the film industry and his fans is new to him as he never thought of himself as a good looking man.

He also shared that his favourite co-star from “Kapoor and Sons” -- which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt - is Rishi.

“As a kid back home in Pakistan, I did not have access to films so I used to rent VHS tapes and watch movies of Rishi Kapoor. Hence today I am more than thrilled to work with him,” Fawad said in a statement.

The episode of “Look Who’s Talking with Niranjan - Season 2” featuring Fawad Khan will be aired on Sunday on Zee Cafe.

 (13:18)
Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS) As his comedy drama “Do Dooni Chaar” (DDC) completed five years of existence, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor walked down the memory lane, and pondered over why the team never attempted to make a sequel of the film,

The movie, which won the National Award for best Hindi feature film, also featured his wife Neetu Singh.

“Time flies. Five years of DDC. Habib we should have attempted a sequel. Anyway, a film we the team will cherish,” Rishi tweeted.

The Habib Faisal directorial weaved a story of a middle class family dreaming of buying a car and how they save money for it during inflation. The film, which released on October 8, 2010, presented the hardships of a middle-class school teacher and his family in a comic way.

“Do Dooni Chaar” marked the on screen reunion of the Rishi-Neetu Singh pair as a lead couple, who previously acted in several hits during the 1970s like “Khel Khel Mein” and “Rafoo Chakkar”.

The couple walked into the big screen again with “Besharam” in 2013 with their son Ranbir, but the on screen family get together failed to appeal to the movie-goers.
