Fashion Depends On Happiness, Comfort: Farhan Akhtar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Mar, 2016 11:32 AM
  • Fashion Depends On Happiness, Comfort: Farhan Akhtar
Bollywood actor-producer and singer Farhan Akhtar, whose association with contemporary menswear brand Code by Lifestyle was extended on Wednesday, says a person's fashion statement is mostly dependent on happiness and comfort.

"What looks good on a person depends on their happiness and comfort. When you dress well there is a certain feeling, emotion, and happiness. And whenever you feel happy or good, that's when your clothes look better when you are happy wearing them," Farhan, who also unveiled Code by Lifestyle’s Spring Summer collection at an event here, said.

Farhan, who has donned a mix of casual as well as formals on screen, said he "would love to wear formals frequently."

"You cannot wear formal wear to roam around, especially in the weather of Mumbai. When we travel to places where weather is slightly more conducive, then I would love to do it. I opt for outfits depending on weather," he added.

The “Rock On!!” star insists that he is not brand conscious but does have a soft spot for "good things."

"All of us enjoy good things in life when we work hard towards it. When I do have an opportunity to associate with brand, it feels good," he said, while adding that "styling has to inherently come from inside."

"I do enjoy dressing up when the opportunity arises. In that way I am pretty fashion-conscious," The "Wazir" actor added.
