Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who takes fitness seriously, will now endorse Apollo Munich Health Insurance.
 
As the brand ambassador, he aims to make more Indians aware of health insurance.
 
"I am someone who takes fitness very seriously but at the same time, I feel that we live in a very stressful world. When we talk about our parents' generation and before them, the times are very different. The world is so fast now. 
 
"If we see the lives of people and their sleeping patterns, heath issues start at a younger age than it used to for people of generation before us," Farhan said here on Thursday.
 
So, he feels it is important to have health insurance at a young age.
 
On associating with Farhan, Antony Jacob, CEO, Apollo Munich Health Insurance, said: "We have a few values - honouring commitment, innovation, relationships which go beyond a particular transaction and to be accessible at all times. We found all these qualities in Farhan."
 
Apollo Munich Health Insurance also announced a new category called Winsure with its health insurance plan called Health Wallet.
