Lauding the Indian Premier League (IPL) for its high entertainment quotient, actor-director Farhan Akhtar on Tuesday said he will be rooting for Mumbai Indians and was excited to see cricketer Yuvraj Singh play.
 
"I am from Mumbai... so I will be rooting for Mumbai. I am very excited to see Yuvraj again on the pitch. I really enjoy watching his cricket and I wish him all the best for the league," Farhan said here.
 
The "Rock On" actor is in the city to perform with actors Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor at the IPL inaugural ceremony at the Salt Lake Stadium here.
 
"IPL is thoroughly entertaining. People wait year on year and the dates are marked on calendars. The really good close contests are what fans like us want," he added.
