'Eve' not title of Shoojit Sircar's film: Big B

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Mar, 2016 12:24 PM
  • 'Eve' not title of Shoojit Sircar's film: Big B
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is shooting in the capital for Shoojit Sircar's new production, has clarified that the project is not titled "Eve". He says the movie is yet to get a title.

“There is many a speculation that the name of the film on shoot in Delhi under Shoojit Sircar is named 'Eve’...wrong! There is no title yet, but we shall have one soon... Till then, it's just a film under Shoojit’s banner,” the 73-year-old posted on his blog.

The film is directed by National Award-winning Bengali director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who is stepping into Hindi films with the project. Sircar, who had also produced Bengali film “Aparajita Tumi”, helmed by Chowdhury, is the creative producer of the film .

Big B, who has earlier worked with Sircar in “Piku”, also clarified that the look of the film is not what has been surfaced online.

“There is also speculation that the look in the film that I sport is this,” he posted on his blog with an image in which he is seen sporting a semi-casual look.

“Another wrong... This is the look for the airport... A look studied and cared for, worked on, selected after due consideration and analysis... Just so when the picture, this picture shall adorn the special column in all the media print these days, under ‘airport clothing’, one should look presentable or at least different."

"Else prepare thyself for comment on style, fashion, suitability, why and where and whom,” he added.
