Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Mar, 2016 01:34 PM
  • Emraan Hashmi To Unveil Cover Of His Book On Cancer
Actor Emraan Hashmi, who has penned his struggle around his son Ayan's cancer treatment in a book titled “The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer”, will launch its cover on March 20 here. The cover image will be picked on the basis of votes received from his fans online.

Currently filming the fourth instalment of "Raaz", Emraan shared a video on Facebook on Wednesday, urging his fans to vote for the best cover image.

"I am happy to announce that there is a special event on March 20 in Delhi. It's for the launch of cover of the book. But before that... I am a bit confused. We have some really good images that we have shortlisted... Some six to seven images shot by Rohan Shrestha.," Emraan said.

"They are really nice candid images of me and Ayan, and we don't know which one we should carry because they all are very good. So, I'll leave it to you all. We will be putting up a poll. Send in your votes for the image that you like the most and the image that gets maximum votes will be the one which will be carried on the cover of the book," Emraan said in the almost two-minute long video.

So far, he has shared two images in which the father-son duo is seen sporting casuals, with emphasis on T-shirts featuring superhero Batman.

The book, which is co-authored by Bilal Siddiqi, will be published by Penguin Books India in English, Hindi and Marathi.
