Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga: A Timeless Song For A Love Without Labels!

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Jan, 2019 11:13 PM

The first song from the film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles is out. The title song of the film is a recreated version of 1942 A Love Story, the Anil Kapoor, and Manisha Koirala musical that ruled 90s India.

The new version of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga song is written by Gurpreet Saini and sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli.

The song just shows the chemistry between Sonam and Rajkummar while suggesting her relationship with another woman, but also drops hints at how Anil and Juhi Chawla also share a sweet bond in the film.

Sharing the song, Anil Kapoor says, "A song that has always been close to my heart! It was special then and is special now".

Anil Kapoor who is playing Sonam Kapoor's father in the film is excited to once again recreate the same song in the current film after 25 years. The song is very close to the actor and is one of his all-time favorites. The makers of the film along with Anil Kapoor will launch the song on 8th Jan.

'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' has an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao & Juhi Chawla.

Fox Star Studio presents 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. This film also marks as a debut film of Shelly Chopra Dhar. The film is slated to release on 1st February 2019.
