Darpan News Desk IANS, 27 Jun, 2017 01:17 PM
Actress Yami Gautam says it is important not to lose sight of healthy living in the quest to attain the perfect frame.

"Being an actor, it's very important not just to look fit but stay healthy and active inside out... But I believe staying healthy and fit should be a way of life, regardless of what profession you are in," Yami told IANS.

The "Kaabil" actress, who is associated with swimwear brand Speedo India and joined the CrossFit Aqua Aerobics instructor Pooja Arora, for Speedo AquaFit - Underwater, Vertical, Fitness Training Programme last week in Mumbai, says fitness in any form inspires her.

"It's so important to switch up your fitness regime from time to time," she added.

So, what is her fitness mantra? "Functional and controlled weight training. But food goes hand in hand with workout. Essential to keep that balance," the actress added.

On the film front, Yami was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma's "Sarkar 3", which also starred megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
