Documentaries Superior To Films Nowadays: Anurag Kashyap

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jul, 2015 02:28 PM
Acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap believes that nowadays documentaries are more effective and well-made as compared to feature films.

"Documentaries are good things, and nowadays documentaries are more effectively made as compared to films," Kashyap said on the sidelines of the screening of "Amy", a documentary based on the life of late singer Amy Winehouse.

Kashyap, known for movies like "Black Friday" and "Gangs Of Wasseypur", has himself presented two documentaries -- "The World before Her" and "Katiyabaaz".

His last feature film "Bombay Velvet" failed to impress audiences and critics alike.
