Darpan News Desk IANS, 27 Mar, 2015 01:23 PM
  • 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' To Have New Legendary Villain
Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee says a new legendary villain will emerge out of his crime drama film "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!".

Dibakar said: "The villain in this film is such a character, who is on the same level as Byomkesh. Byomkesh respects the villain because he knows that he is very dangerous... The audience will see a new legendary villain in this film. I am satisfied looking at the actor's performance in this film."

The actor, who's playing the villain in "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!", has been kept under wraps, while Sushant Singh Rajput plays the iconic detective in the film, which is releasing on April 3.

Banerjee says he had approached Aamir Khan to play the villain's role in this film.

"I had met Aamir to play the villain's role for this film, but at the same time he had signed 'Dhoom:3', that's why he didn't do this film. Films have their own destiny."
