Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh May Reunite Again In Bhansali’s Padmavati

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Jul, 2016 01:56 PM
After much speculations, Deepika Padukone may have been finalised for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly ambitious project Padmavati along with Ranveer Singh.

Music director Shreyas Puranik, who was supposed to work for Bhansali on the movie, confirmed with a tweet that Deepika would star in the film, Pinkvilla reported.

However, on Sunday morning, the account could not be found on Twitter and rumours were rife that he had deleted his account. Twitteratti also speculated that Bhansali had fired Puranik from his film.

After the success of Ram Leela – Goliyon Ki Raasleela and Bajirao Mastani, the upcoming project, which is supposedly based on tyrant emperor Alauddin Khilji’s obsession for Padmavati, the queen of Chittor, will mark the third collaboration of Sanjay-Deepika and Ranveer.

Reportedly, Prakash Kapadia, who earlier scripted Bajirao Mastani, has reportedly been roped in to write Padmavati.

The shooting of the movie will go on floors in September.
