  • Debutant Katrina Kaif Scores 1 Million Followers On Instagram In Just 24 Hours

Katrina Kaif scored one million followers in just 24 hours of her Instagram debut. Now, that’s what we term fame to be! After stepping into the world of Facebook on her last birthday, the actress debuted on Instagram on Thursday and posted just two pictures of her.

In one of her pictures from her latest ‘Towel Series’ photo shoot, the ‘Bang Bang’ actress can be seen wrapped in a white towel, flaunting her perfect hour-glass figure.

Reportedly, the 33-year-old actress has become the first Bollywood celebrity to be shot and appear in a special series by celebrity photographer Mario Testino.

On Saturday morning, the actress shared a new picture and captioned it: "This is me in the morning .... #iwokeuplikethis .... (or maybe ...)." On following Katrina's clue and clicking on next picture on the carousel, an image of Katrina with disheveled hair and a startled expression appears, which reads: "Just kidding... This is more like it. #thankgodforfilters." *Slow Clap*

Katrina Kaif, 33, called truce with social media last year by joining Facebook, around the time of the release of her film Baar Baar Dekho. Katrina has (at the time of writing this) shared three posts on Instagram, one of which is from a photo shoot for photographer Mario Testino's towel series. This picture too has predictably gone viral.

On the work front, Katrina is awaiting the release of Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos,’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor which is slated to hit the theatres on July 14.
