  • Daler Mehndi, Neha Kakkar To Sing National Anthem At Kabaddi League
Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi along with Neha Kakkar, Indian Ocean band's Rahul Ram and flautist Rasika will be singing the national anthem at the upcoming matches of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).

“This season, we will create a place of pride for the national anthem, one unique feature no other sport has. Every day, during the league, we will have eminent personalities and local musicians and bands sing the anthem in a manner that captures the essence of the entire country," Nitin Kukreja, head, Star Sports, which broadcasts the tournament, said in a statement.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan sang the national anthem at the opening of the event. He was followed by singer Sunidhi Chauhan in Mumbai and former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly in Kolkata.

PKL started in July as 60-game tournament to be played across 37 days in eight cities.
