Daisy Shah To Meet Salman To Celebrate His Acquittal

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 Dec, 2015 10:53 AM
  • Daisy Shah To Meet Salman To Celebrate His Acquittal
After Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 accident case, actress Daisy Shah, who shares a close bond with the superstar, says it's time for celebrations and she would personally meet the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" star to congratulate him.

Daisy, who is basking in all the positive response to her latest film “Hate Story 3”, told IANS: “It's a big day for his family and close friends."

"It's time for double celebration as Salman has been acquitted and I am extremely happy for him. I will be meeting him in the evening. As soon as you enter Salman's house, it's like a party time. Yes, I will meet him and will have an unplanned party with him. It's a big day for his family and close friends," she added.

Daisy had forayed into Bollywood with Salman-starrer “Jai Ho” in 2014.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday gave a clean chit to Salman in the September 28, 2002, accident case citing lack of evidence. Justice A.R. Joshi said the actor "cannot be convicted" on the basis of the evidences produced by the prosecution in the 13-year-old case and trial.

It was not only an emotional moment for Salman, who broke down in court after hearing the verdict, but for his family members as well.
