On his father Yash Johar's 85th birth anniversary, filmmaker Karan Johar reminisced how he used to always give precedence to relationships over movies. He says it's a "tall order" to follow.

"Dad's birthday today...his stand was always to put relationships over films...a tall order to follow...I still try...miss him more than ever," Karan tweeted Saturday.

Yash Johar, who died in 2004, founded Dharma Productions in 1976. He produced films like
"Dostana" (1981), "Agneepath" (1990), "Hum" (1991), "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" (1998), "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" (2001) and "Kal Ho Naa Ho" (2003).

He launched Karan as a director with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai". Karan has successfully taken on the legacy of the Dharma Productions banner and has delivered several successful entertainers as a producer and director.
