Dabangg Had A Desi-Tadka, Was A Trend-Setter: Arbaaz Khan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Aug, 2016 03:34 PM
  • Dabangg Had A Desi-Tadka, Was A Trend-Setter: Arbaaz Khan
Arbaaz Khan feels his debut production venture Dabangg in 2010 brought a new trend in the Bollywood industry with its ‘desi-tadka.’
The star feels studying trend and thinking ahead of it is a very important part of filmmaking in today’s time.

“Before ‘Dabangg’ there was a period when people stopped making ‘desi’ movies. They were more inclined to westernised work, outdoor shoots and things like that. That was trending then. By then, ‘Dabangg’ came and changed the trend,” he said here at an event yesterday.

“Sometimes you have to out beat the trend. Sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you are not, but you have to look ahead. If your film is similar to others, then people will feel it repetitive,” added the actor.

Further talking about his birthday plans, who turns 49 today, Arbaaz said, “I will be working at Mehboob studio. May be I will go out for dinner with family.”

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan’s marriage has been in the news for a considerable amount of time now, with the two apparently separated. However, if there was a breach between the couple, it seems to be a thing of the past. On Arbaaz’s birthday today (August 4), Malaika took to Instagram to wish “happiness always” to her husband.

A reconciliation was on the horizon between Arbaaz and Malaika when she was spotted celebrating Eid with Arbaaz’s family. Malaika was also a part of the customary family photo at the festival. And now, the actress has come up with a special birthday wish.

Malaika, took to Instagram to share a cute cake cutting picture with Arbaaz. She captioned the image as: Happy bday Arbaaz 🎂🍾😘…happiness always
