Cindy Crawford Turning 50, Embraces Her Age

Darpan News Desk IANS, 08 Dec, 2015 10:46 AM
Supermodel Cindy Crawford, who will be turning 50 next February, says she is happy to age gracefully.

"Women like Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda, they look amazing and they look appropriate. They look amazing but they're not trying to look 30. I don't want to be trying to compete with my 14-year-old daughter (Kaia Gerber) - because I would lose."

"I always thought, 'When can I just let it all go?' It's just never. There is no age now! It was the aspect of embracing turning 50 and celebrating the past, but at the same time I am embracing where I am," Crawford told people.com.

The 49-year-old star has also praised her children Kaia and Presley for making her feel at ease with ageing.

"I do and I'm really jealous. No, I'm joking. I always tease her, 'You have my old legs. Give them back'."

"I think honestly I am probably the hardest on myself. It's beautiful as a mother to watch your children grow up and become whoever they're going to be, and I think that makes it easier for me to watch myself also getting older," she said.
