Chupa Rustom Ranveer Singh And Salman Bhai Send Shout-out To Rustom Akshay Kumar

  • Chupa Rustom Ranveer Singh And Salman Bhai Send Shout-out To Rustom Akshay Kumar
When Ranveer Singh started promoting Rustom on Twitter, Akshay Kumar would never have thought it would come to this.

In the last few hours, Ranveer has offered Akshay a throwback photo featuring both of them, gave him a kiss, danced to his song, dressed like him and introduced Rustom to Chupa Rustom.

Coming back to Rustom and Ranveer Singh hero-worshipping Akshay, it all started innocently enough. Ranveer Singh shared a throwback image on Twitter where we have a Akshay Kumar of his Khiladi days, standing next to a boy.

Now Akshay of those days, we know him well — the Khiladi haircut, body hair and not as chiselled as today. But who is the young boy standing next to Akshay? Before you throw your hands heavenwards, here it goes — Ranveer Singh.

But, Akshay could not have believed that Ranveer would then post a video where he is dressed as a Navy officer and is dancing to ‘Zeher hai ke pyar hai tera chumma’. The song has Ranveer doing every move we associate with 90s.

Thanks for the nostalgia Ranveer. Akshay, he is speechless at least on Twitter since then. Ranveer captioned the video, “Chumma to You @akshaykumar !!!

Earlier, Sultan Salman Khan shared a video asking fans to go and watch Rustom starring “Rustom-e-Hind Akshay Kumar.”

Superstar Salman Khan has asked his fans to watch for Akshay Kumar's forthcoming film "Rustom".

Salman on Tuesday night took to Twitter to share a video urging his fans to watch "Rustom", which is slated to release on August 12.

In the video, the "Dabangg" star is heard saying: "Humare film industry ke Rustom-e-Hind ki film aa rahi hai naam hai 'Rustom'. August 12 ko jaakar dekhiye Akshay Kumar ki film 'Rustom'. (The film of our film industry's Rustom-e-Hind titled 'Rustom' is releasing. Watch Akshay Kumar's 'Rustom' releasing on August 12)."

Salman, who was seen sporting a white t-shirt and grey jacket captioned the video: "10 Days To 'Rustom', Akshay Kumar."

"Rustom" is based on real life story of Indian Navy officer Commander K.M. Nanavati, who shot dead his wife's lover but was pardoned. The film, which carries the tag line '3 shots that shocked the nation' also brings back Akshay and director Neeraj Pandey after the duo worked together on their 2015 project "Baby".

Pandey is also co-producing the film too.

Santosh Thundiyil has handled the film's cinematography while it is directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai.
