Christina Grimmie's Killer Had History Of Violence

IANS, 14 Jun, 2016 12:55 PM
Kevin James Loibl, the man who shot "The Voice" singer Christina Grimmie dead, reportedly had a history of violence.

According to a police report obtained by tmz.com, police were called to Loibl's home on two previous occasions.

In 2013, Loibl and his father's fiancee Dawn were involved in an argument at their Florida home.

While Dawn is believed to have told police that Loibl slammed the door on her arm and broke her wrist, he claimed she was intoxicated and he accidentally slammed the door on her arm when he fled to his room.

The police had noted that she was "very intoxicated" and the matter wasn't taken any further.

A year later police were also called over a fight between his dad and Dawn though no arrests were made on this occasion either.

Last week, Grimmie opened for the band Before You Exit at The Plaza Live in Orlando and stayed on afterwards to sign autographs for fans when Loibl -- who was carrying two handguns, two loaded magazines and a hunting knife -- approached her and opened fire.

He shot at her and then killed himself after being tackled by Grimmie's brother.
