'Champion' great blend of Indian, international elements: Dwayne Bravo

IANS, 24 Oct, 2016 12:00 PM
Veteran West Indies all-rounder and singer Dwayne Bravo says that the Indian rendition of the song "Champion", which features him and cricketer Chris Gayle, is a great blend of Indian and international elements.

The Skore condom's song was released on YouTube on Friday and has garnered 202,572 views within three days of its release.

Gayle and Bravo are brand ambassadors for Skore's Champion Series.

The song is a fusion of Hindi and English lyrics with the zeal and melody of the original Champion song.

"I'm very happy with the way the song has shaped up. The video is fresh and has a great blend of Indian and international elements to it. Chris and I, had a blast doing this song with Skore and the crew. The song is upbeat, lively and very desi," Bravo said in a statement.

Gayle said that "being a champion" to him "is breaking taboos, being vocal and more importantly, being responsible."

"The new rendition of 'Champion' song, in line with Skore's young brand imagery, is path-breaking as marketing content. With this song, we hope to start a larger conversation around the brand and condom use," Vishal Vyas, Head of Marketing, Skore Condoms said.
