Celebrities Showcase Fashion Flair On Social Website

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Apr, 2016 12:53 PM
  • Celebrities Showcase Fashion Flair On Social Website
Celebrities like actresses Sonakshi Sinha, Nargis Fakhri, Kashmira Shah, have taken to 'Style check-in', a feature introduced by fashion social network Roposo where users can update their location along with their fashion posts on the app.

In the feature, geo-tagging enables other users to see what’s trending in which part of the country and helps them make their fashion choices in tune with all that is in vogue.

Users can also tag the places from which they have bought a certain item of clothing so that others can discover the best markets and brands to shop from.

Celebrities like Sania Mirza, Aditi Gowitrikar, Ranjit Rodricks, Nayaan Chaudhary and Achla Sachdev too have joined the gang, creating their profiles using the particular feature.

“Style check-in connects style with location and is, therefore, set to change the way Indians discover and shop for fashion. Celebrities too are excited by this app feature as they get to foster a deeper engagement with their fans and followers. They can showcase their style quotient and also tag their location to inspire others on what to wear when,” Roposo co-founder Avinash Saxena, said in a statement.

The feature will use either the device GPS to add the location tag to a story or search for a pre-existing location. Users will also be able to see all the photo posts which are near their location.

Check-ins can be edited and location can also be added to old posts on Roposo.
