Caitlyn Is Beautiful: Kim Kardashian

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Jun, 2015 01:41 PM
  • Caitlyn Is Beautiful: Kim Kardashian
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says that she first laid eyes on her stepmother Caitlyn, who was previously her father Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition, when she attended the cover shoot of the magazine and she loved it.

"It was so beautiful. I actually went to the shoot, and that was my first time meeting Caitlyn. She's beautiful, and I'm so proud that she can just be her authentic self. I guess that's what life is about," Kim told an American television programme Entertainment Tonight.

Transgender Olympic champion and reality TV star Bruce Jenner unveiled her new name Caitlyn Jenner in a Vanity Fair cover shoot on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Kim previously spoke out about the family's unfaltering support for Caitlyn, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She said: "No matter what, we love (Caitlyn). I know (she) feels great that (her) whole family does support (her).

"I feel for people that don't have that support. There's such a high suicide rate in the transgender community, which is heartbreaking."

The 34-year-old also took to social media to share a photograph from the photo shoot, urging her stepmother to be "happy (and) proud" with who she is.

Kim wrote: "Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair. Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!(sic)."
