As Varun Dhawan turned a year older on Sunday, celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Huma Qureshi and Karan Johar opted for the virtual way to wish the Bollywood's “talented hit machine” a happy birthday.
 
The son of filmmaker David Dhawan, Varun entered Bollywood with the multi-starrer “Student of the Year” in 2012 along with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. 
 
The actor then went on to experiment with his craft by doing films like “Main Tera Hero”, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”, “Badlapur”, “ABCD 2” and “Dilwale”. Varun has a lot to look forward to, with films like “Dishoom”, "Shuddhi" and “Judwaa 2” lined up. 
 
Before entering the silver screen, Varun worked behind the camera as an assistant director of “My Name Is Khan”.
