Saluting Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman on his 49th birthday on Wednesday, Bollywood celebrities including melody queen Lata Mangeshkar have wished the music maestro.
 
Rahman, who won an Oscar for Danny Boyle’s 2008 film “Slumdog Millionaire”, has been winning hearts of many with his soulful numbers like "Tu hi re" and "Maa tujhe salaam" for over two decades.
 
On his birthday, here's what celebrities wished for him, via Twitter:

"To my dearest friends, fans, family and well-wishers... Thank you for your kind birthday wishes, prayers and affection. You inspire me to work harder and make even more beautiful music. Luckily I am not yet 50," Rahman posted on his Facebook page.
