Brother Harshwardhan Trying To Make An 'Impact': Sonam

Darpan News Desk IANS, 01 May, 2016 11:50 AM
  • Brother Harshwardhan Trying To Make An 'Impact': Sonam
Actress Sonam Kapoor refused to talk much about her brother Harshwardhan, who will soon make its cinematic debut, saying that she will talk when his film releases "as he is trying to make an impact".

At the launch of her application, Sonam, asked if her brother would also make appearances on the app, said: "Yes, when his film releases, because he refuses to even get out of his room."

Asked how he is different from her and their sister Rhea, she said: "Can I please talk about it after his film releases, because I will get slaughtered at home as he's trying to make an impact.. he has to stop going to restaurants if he has to make an impact."

Harshwardhan will be making his debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's "Mirzya", for which he has been working for a substantial amount of time. He has also tried to remain as exclusive as possible since he has hardly been spotted anywhere. In fact, the only glimpse of him, as seen in the teaser, also was half-covered.

Regarding Sonam's app, Rhea, who is also a part of Sonam's team for fashion and style, will also share her inputs on it, said Sonam, adding that she along with their other friends, might have conversations on relevant and irrelevant matters on the app.

About the app, Sonam said: "It's going to be a reflection of who I am. I'm going to be doing everything that makes me 'me'. Films is a large part of who I am, but it's also going to be fashion, books, food, travel, my friends, the people who I work with.

"It's going to be pretty, warm, and inspirational... It's going to have original content. Makeup, hair, music, whatever my likes or dislikes are, can be seen on this app."

Sonam also said that her next film might also be announced on the app, something likely to happen in the next few days.
